Wall Graphics and Custom Designed Logo Signs Add Wow Factor to Branded Restaurants in Orange County!
Dave’s Doghouse brings East Coast hot dogs to the Southern California area. The Staples Center is one of the locations where hungry guests can enjoy these treats locally. Other sites are opening up as well. To present customers with the right ambiance that makes the hot dog stand easy to pick out, the business’ owner contacted us to put together wall graphics and custom logo signs for restaurants in Orange County, CA.
After consulting with the client, we started the sign’s design with a half-inch-thick black acrylic panel to which we added half-inch-thick white acrylic lettering. We printed the colors directly onto the white acrylic and then mounted it to the board for a three-dimensional presentation. Adding a roof component to the custom-cut setup allowed us to hide the mounting holes and hardware. The top left and bottom right of the sign feature a direct imprint as well. We installed the product centered above an ordering counter, where it now beckons to passersby.
Cut out decals of Dave’s Dog mascot create ambiance. We also added more wall decals that feature some of the different menu items currently available. Next, we added two yellow wall stickers that highlight the special mac and cheese dogs that are a new, well-received menu item right now. These decals mimic the look of fluttering panels, and this stylized movement adds visual interest to the setup. The new storefront now features the ideal mix of branding, marketing, and advertising products that also assist the guest with wayfinding and product information.
Using Graphics in Restaurants
More and more restaurant owners realize that wall graphics or murals are highly useful tools for the creation of an ambiance in their venues. Doing so eliminates the need for dust-catching tchotchkes and décor pieces, which are difficult to keep clean. Also, the decals do not rob the space of depth, which is another point for the vinyl. In fact, there are plenty of options open to you.
- Wall lettering and images. Display pictures of your most popular dishes right on the walls. If you focus on the dessert menu, you may be able to see the orders for these tasty treats go up.
- Murals. For the business owner who wants to focus on setting the stage for specific meals, we recommend a whole-wall display. Consider the presentation of a street scene or pick a stock image that encapsulates your brand message with colors and shapes. Letting go of the non-descript wall backdrop can make a significant difference in the setting’s ambiance.
- Window graphics and lettering. Start the marketing and branding conversation with perforated vinyl graphics and letters that entice the consumer to step closer and make an impulse stop. The perforations allow the light to enter your venue.
